Williams Middle Celebrates Constitution Day Sept. 15
Williams Middle School celebrated Constitution Day on Friday, Sept. 15, with an assembly. The Wilson ROTC presented the colors while 8th grade student Marcus Rouse played the Star Spangled Banner on the trumpet. After a brief video of several students reading while the Constitution is important to them, SC State Senator Mike Reichenbach addressed the students on how politics affect them and why they should be involved in voicing opinions. 8th graders attended the assembly in the WMS gymnaisum while 7th grade student and Tiger News Network crew member Jay Freeman livestreamed the assembly to 6th and 7th grade classrooms.
